Diaz Wins Twice in Final Tune-Up Before Conference
Pella–Maxwell Diaz (Fr., Miami, Fla.) got one more time on the mat Saturday as he competed at the Central Last Chance Invitational.
The freshman heavyweight lost his first match, but rebounded with back-to-back falls. Unfortunately, he could not claim the consolation championship bout to finish with a 2-2 record.
Next Up: William Penn travels to Atchison, Kan. next Saturday to compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships. Action begins at 9 a.m.
