Patricia Clark, 73, of Oskaloosa, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Mahaska Health Serenity House, in Oskaloosa, IA. Patricia Kay Clark, daughter of Lawrence and Clara (Bruns) Tremmel, was born November 18, 1946 in Sigourney, IA.

The youngest of 10 children, Pat attended school in Sigourney. After her education, Pat began helping full time with the family farm.

Pat later met and married Larry Clark and to this union, a son, Brian was born. They later divorced. Pat later met Richard Gorman and through this relationship a daughter, Dawn was born.

Pat worked as a waitress for restaurants in Oskaloosa, and primarily worked at Donna’s Café. She returned to her education and finished her GED through DMACC and then earned her Associates Degree in Business through DMACC.
Although health complications forced Pat into an early retirement, she still had a love of learning and a very strong work ethic.

Pat loved to be outside, she enjoyed attending yard sales and all types of animals, but most of all, Pat loved her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by a son, Brian (& Julie) Clark of Oskaloosa; a daughter, Dawn (& David) Cooper of Pella; her grandchildren: Zach Clark of Oskaloosa, and Kristopher, O’Den, Breanna and Darrin Cooper, all of Pella; great grandchildren: Jamison Ruby, Anistyn and Kam Clark, all of Oskaloosa; and a brother, Jerry (& Shirley) Tremmel of Searsboro, IA.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and eight brothers.

As were Pat’s wishes, her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
