Albert Notches First Career Scholar-Athlete Accolade

Oskaloosa–William Penn men’s golfer Jordan Albert (Jr., Sigourney, Iowa, Biology) was honored for his excellence in the classroom as he was named a 2018-2019 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete recently.
Albert, who is a first-time recipient, owned a 3.76 Grade Point Average entering this spring. A total of 186 men’s golfers from within the NAIA were awarded the laurel.
To be eligible for the award, athletes must be of at least junior academic standing, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, and have attended the nominating institution for at least one full academic year.
