7th Grade Girls Can’t Beat Holiday Slump

Oskaloosa Indians

It was a tough night for the 7th grade teams against Grinnell last night that ended with all three teams losing. The girls tried to shake off the holiday break slump and rebound from our last game, but the Tigers were just too much.

The A team lost 45-11 bringing their record to 1-2. Maddie Haines leading the way with 3 points. Jillian Jennings, Kaylee Johnson, Emily Simon and Abby Braundmeier all had 2 points to round out the scoring.

The B team lost 34-2 bringing their record to 0-2. Paiven Knoot was the lone scorer.

The C team lost 33-4 bringing their record to 0-2. Amerisi Winegar and Haley Gladson both scored.

With it being early in the season we will still be able to improve in the areas that we are currently struggling! The girls will be back in action Thursday as they play their first away game at Knoxville!
