This weekend the Oskaloosa Education Foundation held their 3rd Annual Pot of Gold shared Half Marathon & 5K. All proceeds raised go towards the Oskaloosa Education Fund for Scholarships for high school seniors. The race began 3 years ago in memory of Issac Hoven a cross country runner at Oskaloosa Schools.
This years race took place on March 30th, with the Half Marathon beginning at 8 am and 5K at 9 am. It was chilly morning but everyone was excited to be participating for a great cause. For more pictures of the event and future events go to www.facebook.com/mcrf.laceyrecreation.
