2011 Little League Sign-ups begin this weekend

2011 Little League Sign ups will continue on February 5th

Chris Fynaardt of Oskaloosa Little League and Dorothy Stout were on hand to help sign up youngsters for this years little league action.

February 5th will have Little League along with the other youth sports on hand, such as Babe Ruth and Soccer. Most spring types of activities for youth should be on hand to help.

Little League says they are still looking for coaches for this year, saying they don’t usually end up with enough hands to help.

Fynaardt says they are also still accepting sponsors for teams this year as well. They currently have 15 sponsors signed up, and with 50 teams from last year, it would be a good opportunity for a local business to get more exposure. One team costs $250.00.

The costs for those still needing to sign up next weekend are: T-ball or ages 5 and 6 costs $35.00, with the remaining groups costing $50.00.
