Yvonne Elaine Baker, age 69, of Fremont passed away Sunday, September 22, at Hospice House in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Yvonne was born, August 13, 1944 in Nebraska City, Nebraska the daughter of Marion and Ella Sarvis Tyson. She attended school in Nebraska City. She was employed in a private nursing home in Agency, Linden’s Factory in Ottumwa until they closed, Pleasant Park Estates, and retired from Crystal Heights Care Center in Oskaloosa.
Yvonne was united in marriage to Everett Baker, September 1, 1961 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her husband: Everett Baker of Fremont; a daughter: Denisa (Mick) O’Leary of Ottumwa; four grandchidlren: Jessica, Mickey Jr., Kassidy, and Aarron O’Leary; and two great grandchildren: Mikey Simmons and Molly MacIntire.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; a son: Donald Baker; and a granddaughter: Misty O’Leary.
Visitation: 9:30 A.M. until the time of service. September 26, 2013 at Fremont Funeral Chapel
