Main Street Young Ambassador Contest winners were announced in a gala event at the Penn Central Mall Monday evening. All participants, ages three through kindergarten, of the Young Ambassadors Contest were introduced by Master of Ceremonies, Miranda Keeler. Music was provided by Bob Ballard of Spinners DJ. Ms. Keeler read a Christmas story to the children and Santa made a special appearance, with gifts for all the children.

“We are very thankful to all the local merchants who sponsored the children’s canisters, and the Chamber Diplomats who monitored them. We are thankful to those who placed monetary votes in the canisters. This year, proceeds will go to Peekaboo Point Pre-school and The Main Street Lighted Christmas Parade,” shared Deb Bruxvoort from the Chamber/Main Street office.
