William Penn University Boasts Record New Student Enrollment for Fall 2019

(OSKALOOSA, Iowa) – William Penn University boasts record new student enrollment for the fall of 2019. The private, liberal arts University in Oskaloosa, Iowa has seen an increase of 9.2% of previous new student enrollment record. The enrollment for new students hits an all-time high of 487.

“We are excited to represent 45 states and 23 foreign countries in the 2019-20 school year. Faculty and staff have worked so hard to make this happen and get these students here,” said Madison Steinke, Director of Admissions at William Penn University. “This is a record-breaking year at WPU! What a great time to be a Statesmen!”

The new student enrollment includes students that are first-time freshman or transfer students. The overall enrollment for the University tops out just over the 1,200-student mark.

“The Penn Campus is energized by our enrollment this year. The geographic diversity brings with it the broad mix of ethnic, religious and economic diversity that enables us to have a rich and meaningful educational environment,” said WPU President, John Ottosson. “Our students learn to live and work with people who come from a variety of backgrounds. This prepares them to make a real difference in their world as they learn the academic skills to help navigate life.”
