William Penn University would like to remind motorists to use caution when driving near campus, especially when approaching the pedestrian walkway across North Market Street/Hwy 63 on the north side of campus. With near record enrollment and dorm buildings at full capacity, hundreds of students use the crosswalk on a daily basis walking to and from classes, to the dining hall, to practices, and various other campus activities. Students are encouraged to activate the flashing yellow beacon before crossing the street, but drivers are encouraged to be mindful of pedestrians when traveling past campus this academic year.
