Vanderpol Named Oskaloosa PD Newest Lieutenant

The Oskaloosa Police Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Officer Jacob Vanderpol to the position of Lieutenant.

Officer Vanderpol began his career with the Oskaloosa Police Department in June 2008. Since becoming a member of the Department Vanderpol has served as a Department evidence technician, tobacco grant compliance officer, alcohol grant compliance officer, field training coordinator, and is currently a senior officer on a patrol shift. Vanderpol is originally from the Ottumwa area and holds a degree from Indian Hills in Criminal Justice.

Vanderpol will be assigned as a patrol supervisor effective February 1, 2017.
