United Way 2022 Grant Applications Available

United Way of Mahaska County is now accepting applications from qualified 501(c)3 human services agencies for 2022 funding.

To qualify, an agency must be established as a human service tax-exempt organization under the IRS Code Section 501(c)3. The grant requests agency information in the areas of constitution and bylaws, management, financial reports, statement of cooperation and statement of nondiscrimination. The agency must additionally meet the funding criteria, financial accountability, community needs, program priorities, and effectiveness. Those agencies wishing to be considered for 2022 allocations must return the funding application by noon on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

The United Way of Mahaska County and its partner agencies share two common goals in the allocation process relative to the overall mission: 1) To fund real community needs as fully as possible and 2) To allocate available funds for optimum effect among these needs.

If you would like to request a funding application, please contact the United Way office at 641.673.6043 or via email at michella@uwmahaska.org
