Oskaloosa–Three Statesmen softball players were honored for their excellence in the classroom as they were named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes Wednesday.

Seniors Sydney Edwards (Galesburg, Ill., Psychology & Biology), Brittanee Grove (Runnells, Iowa, Elementary Education), and Jorden Steele (Tacoma, Wash., Physical Education) were among a list of 402 softball athletes from within the NAIA to be awarded the laurel.
