Steven Eugene Allison Sr., 71, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at his home. He was born January 6, 1952 to parents Kenneth and Shirley Jean (Ferns) Allison.
Steven graduated from Oskaloosa High School, class of 1970. Growing up he enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting.
He built pole barns for twenty-seven years and later he worked for Tri-County, retiring in 2013.
Steven enjoyed socializing and having drinks with friends and family.
He is survived by his children: Steve (Stephanie) Allison Jr. of New Sharon, Melissa Allison (Robert) Boley of Oskaloosa, Zackery Gordon of Oskaloosa; brother, Kennie Allison of Oskaloosa; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Shirley Allison; sister, Debra; and brother-in-law, Darwin.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel from 4-7 p.m., with Steven’s family present.
