Statesmen of the Week: Abel Madueno
Oskaloosa–Baseball player Abel Madueno (Jr., San Bernardino, Calif., Business Management) has been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of February 26-March 3, presented by Gardner-Collier Jewelry.
Madueno was excellent against Midland last Friday, permitting just one hit in a complete-game shutout. The junior struck out nine and walked just one as the Statesmen won 2-0 over the Warriors. He retired the final 14 batters in which he faced.
