“We played some good junior college competition in our first tournament of the year,” Head Coach Elise Warne said. “We had limited time to prepare with the weather this past week, and we have a lot of newcomers, so it was exciting to see who would perform on game day.”

“Austin led the way, but we also had some impressive results from some of our new guys,” Warne added. “This team is deep and it will be exciting for us as coaches to figure out our lineups each week. This was a good step in the right direction for what we want to achieve this year.”

Next: William Penn travels to Hutchinson, Kan. next Tuesday and Wednesday to compete in the Crazy Horse Challenge. Play will be contested at the Crazy Horse Sports Club Golf Course.
