Speech Students Do Osky Proud

Saturday was a great day for speech in Iowa!

Oskaloosa had 12 students participating in 21 different events.

Moving on to state are:

Bri Hunt (after dinner speaking and public address)
Ally Nolan (solo musical theater, solo improv)
Payton Snyder (reviewing)
Caden Johnson (solo improv, acting)
Elliot Nelson (literary program, poetry)
Callie Lindgren (solo musical theater)
Myles Strait (after dinner speaking and solo improv)
Brenna Deffenbaugh (prose)

Also participating but not moving on were Emma Adams, Claire McKee, and Lawson Morris (and several of the above in a second event) – many students were way out of their comfort zone and did Osky proud.

State will be be held on March 18 at North Scott High School.
