The girls’ soccer team was back in action last night against South Tama. The Indians were unable to match the intensity of the Trojans in the 2nd half and would fall 2-0 to bring their record to 6-5.

The 1st half would see some good soccer by both teams, but neither team would find the back of the net. In the 2nd half the Trojans came out hard and the Indians were unable to rise to the same level and would give up two late 2nd half goals.

“This is a game we want back as far as the intensity level that we played. We lost a lot of 50-50 balls especially in the 2nd half and a lot of that credit goes to South Tama and their feistiness of going after the ball.”

The girls will need to quickly rebound as they travel to #12 DCG tonight for a Varsity only game at 5:30 tonight.
