Soccer Kicks It at the Lacey Recreation Complex Over the Weekend

GOAL! What a weekend for soccer at the Lacey Recreation Complex! Youth soccer started the morning with 30 games, competing with surrounding communities from 9 AM to 1 PM. Lots of victories for the youth with over 800 spectators cheering them on throughout the day! Next door, at Drost Soccer Stadium, William Penn followed youth soccer, with Women’s soccer at 3 PM and Men’s soccer at 6 PM. While the women’s team did not grab the victory, the Statesmen men’s team came away with a 5-2 win for William Penn over Robert Morris (Ill.) even in the rain!
