Soccer camps underway at Lacey Recreation Complex

The sun came out just enough for the Mahaska County Soccer Club to begin its Mini, Junior, and Elite youth soccer camps this Wednesday at the Lacey Recreation Complex soccer fields. The high spirited participants ranged from 4-to-17 years. The camp is run by Greg Walter, Mahaska County Soccer Club President, OHS girls head soccer coach and Central College’s men’s soccer assistant coach, along with Joe Bell, OHS boys head soccer coach. The 38 campers were seen learning the techniques of the game, while having a great time playing soccer during the quick breaks from the rain! The soccer camps will go through Friday May 31st.
