Schlegel is MWC Women’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – For the second time this season, Grinnell College’s Nikki Schlegel ’22 has been named the Midwest Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
Schlegel, from Longmont, Colo. (Silver Creek), sparked the Pioneers in their dual meet with highly-touted Connecticut College during the winter break trip to Florida. She was Grinnell’s top finisher in the 100-yard backstroke and 400 individual medley with times of 1:01.84 and 4:53.71, respectively. The former was just off her MWC-best time in the event.
