Ronald Richman, 74 of Montezuma passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his home in Montezuma. Ronald Charles Richman, the son of Lowell Richman and Allene (Plate) Fleming, was born on February 5, 1947.
Ron graduated from Montezuma High School in 1965.
Ron lived and worked in the Cedar Rapids area working for Rockwell Collins for several years before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma. While living in Tulsa, he first worked for Lori Aerospace and then NORDAM Aerospace. He then moved to West Virginia where he worked for Aurora Flight Services. Ron moved back to Montezuma in 2017 to be closer to his family.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his newest obsession, drag racing in Eddyville.
Ron is survived by his children, Renee (Loren) Sanders, Jodie (George) Hunt, Darcy (Jason) Clothier, Christina (David) Hamilton, Katherine (Reginald) King and Allison (Silverstre) Gonzalez; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his siblings, Karen Baethke and Gregory (Diana) Fleming; his step mother, Esther Timmons; his half siblings, Sue (Rodger) Cline, Becky Westfall, Tim (Michelle) Richman and Barbara (Lars) Ellert; his sister-in-law, Pam Richman and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step father, Allene and Lawrence Fleming; his father, Lowell Richman; a sister, Linda Thomas; a brother, Rick Richman; a half-sister, Kathy Knoll; and brothers-in-law, Gene Baethke and Keith Westfall.
A Celebration of Life and Luncheon will begin at 11:00 am Saturday, December 11, 2021 in the Community Hope Church Fellowship Hall.
Memorial contributions may be made in the family’s name.
