Romero Notches First Heart Award of 2024
Oskaloosa–Boston Romero (Sr., Las Vegas, Nev., Business Management) topped William Penn’s scoring and his efforts garnered Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors Monday.
Romero won his first laurel of the year (second of his career) with a strong performance against Benedictine last Saturday.
The senior scored a team-high four goals (one unassisted) versus the Ravens. He tallied a total of eight shots with six being on goal.
Romero currently has 46 goals with 16 assists this season. He has managed 19 ground balls alongside three caused turnovers.
The weekly laurel is the eighth for WPU this season.
