Robert Leon Corcoran Jr. age 62, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, died Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Mahaska Health Partnership of Oskaloosa. Robert was born on August 18th, 1958, to Robert and Phyllis (Peak) Corcoran in Salina, Kansas. Robert was raised in Moore, Oklahoma.
On September 17th, 1977 Robert and Tamara were united in marriage. Robert and Tamara were married for 43 wonderful years. They were blessed with 6 children: Tina, Robert, Elisa, Christopher, Danyelle, and Travis.
Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He loved watching his old western shows and football with his family.
Robert was survived by his wife Tamara of Oskaloosa; his children: Tina Lobberecht (& Rick) of Cedar Falls, IA , Robert (& Fawn) Corcoran of Knoxville, IA, Elisa Corcoran (& Ryan) of Oskaloosa, IA, Christopher (& Lisa) Corcoran of Oskaloosa, IA, Danyelle Corcoran (& Clint) of Oskaloosa, IA, Travis (& Chelsie) Corcoran of Eddyville, IA; 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters: Donna (& Bob) Calhoun of Wisconsin, and Jody McClure of Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Carla Isbell (& Dale); and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Phyllis Corcoran; a brother, Mark Corcoran; sister, Debbie Corcoran; his Grandma & Grandpa Peak; his Grandma and Grandpa Corcoran; and his son-in-law, Bradley Lobberecht.
As was Robert’s wish his body has been cremated.
Celebration of Life for family will be held at his home in Oskaloosa on Saturday, October 3, 2020. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
