Redlinger Earns Program’s First-Ever All-America Award

Oskaloosa–Natalie Redlinger (Jr., Sigourney, Iowa, Business Management) made history Thursday as the NAIA announced its 2024 Competitive Dance All-America teams.

Redlinger was named to the Third Team, becoming the first All-American in program history.

The All-America teams were determined by judges at the NAIA National Championship and were graded on four elements, including range leaps, triple pirouettes, two eight-count turns, and dance choreography. Scores ranged from 1-5 for each element.

Individuals who scored 16.0 points or more were named to the First Team (38 honorees), while scorers of 14.5-15.99 points were selected to the Second Team (27 individuals), and dancers who tallied 12.0-14.49 points garnered Third-Team laurels (18 recipients).

Josie Kaffenberger of St. Ambrose posted the top score in the try-out process to earn NAIA Dancer of the Year accolades.
