Rain Disappears & the Crowd Cheers

Rain from Monday night and Tuesday afternoon canceled all grass events at the Lacey Recreation Complex on Tuesday evening, but thanks to Mr. Sunshine games could resume on Wednesday! Local Little League youth played a total of 8 games at the 5-plex baseball/softball facility taking place at 6 and 8 p.m. The crowds cheered as rookie boys got into position at the plate waiting for the pitch. As excitement filled the air, a player made contact with a pitch and raced all the way to first base with the bat in hand. Many bases were ran and runs were scored that evening.
