Question of the Week: Do you plan to Caucus next week?

Last week, we asked you if you were more or less concerned about North Korea with the death of Kim Jong Il. Only 24 residents responded to the question with 17 residents (71%) saying they were more concerned, 4 residents (17%) saying they were less concerned, and 3 residents (12%) saying they were unsure. The question of the week poll is unscientific and does not reflect the views or opinions of Osky News.

This week we turn to a state/national event. Tuesday is the day of the Iowa Caucuses. Candidates have been bombarding the state with appearances, tv ads, radio ads, and other campaign events in an effort to win over Iowa voters. Several debates have been held in the state all in the lead up to the Iowa caucuses. Turnout will be a huge factor as in previous years and candidates are hoping for a high turnout. Nearly 120,000 Republicans trooped to the caucuses in 2008, a new turnout record.

Those who say that they will attend the Caucuses site Iowa’s first in the nation status. They say it is an honor and a privilege to be among the people who help  decide the nominee. Those who say they won’t attend the Caucuses site the time of the Caucuses. They say it is hard to attend an event in the evening and that Iowa would be best served having a Primary.

Now it’s your turn to decide. Vote in our online poll. The poll will be open until Sunday when we will close the poll and release the final voting results. If you have any questions, please e-mail us at info@oskynews.org or visit us on our Facebook Page. We would also like to remind you to vote in our Presidential preference poll on our Facebook Page.
