Patricia Denise (Lobberecht) Schlotter, age 62, of Eddyville, died on Friday, July 22, 2022 at her residence under the care of Mahaska Health Partnership Hospice. She was born on April 10, 1960 to Fredrick and Theola (Maloy) Lobberecht in Oskaloosa, IA.
Patricia attended school in Eddyville and received her GED.
Patricia married Russ Schlotter on June 24, 2006 at the First Methodist Church. They shared many fond memories together.
She worked for 18 years at McDonald’s in Oskaloosa, working various types of positions. She was known for her hard work and being able to do anything that was needed.
Patricia was an avid collector of cows and enjoyed thrift shopping. She was well known and considered a social butterfly. Her community was very important to her and she enjoyed doing many activities including playing bingo. She also enjoyed scratching lottery tickets. Above else, she loved her family; especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Russ Schlotter of Eddyville; children, Jennifer Lobberecht of Des Moines and Jacob (& BriAnna) Schaper of Ankeny; step-children, Todd (& Jill) Schlotter of Johnston, Steven (& Molly) of Nevada; grandchildren: Zachary Shuey, Katelynn Shuey, Alexis Budding, Asher and Finley Schaper; step-grandchild, Rachel Schlotter; siblings: Fred Lobberecht, Shirley Hynick, Michelle Lobberecht, Michael (& Lori) Lobberecht and David (& Cassie) Lobberecht.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Theola Lobberecht; sons, Michael Lobberecht and Kyler Schaper; siblings, Gary and Steve Lobberecht; brother-in-law, Richard Hynick.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, opening to the public at 3:00 p.m., with family present from 4-7 p.m. at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel.
