Patricia Willhour, 88, of What Cheer, died Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the Serenity House in Oskaloosa. Patricia Ann Willhour, daughter of John Harold and Julia Bernice Donnelly Caswell was born November 15, 1931 in Kent Iowa.

Patricia was a 1950 graduate of What Cheer high school.

On April 15, 1952 Patricia was united in marriage with Garth Willhour.

Garth and Patricia have lived in What Cheer since that time. She had been a member of the Sigourney Catholic church as well as a former member of What Cheer City Council and the East Side Club. Patricia was also a very avid Hawkeye fan. She loved cooking and doing spending time with family.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Garth Willhour of What Cheer; and a son, Michael (& Sherry Miller) Willhour of Ottumwa. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John and Paul Caswell; and an infant daughter, Ann Marie Willhour.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa.
Visitation will be held at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer on Thursday from 5 to 7.
Due to the unforeseen circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the staff at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home will be in compliance with the state regulations given by Governor Reynolds on March 17, 2020 and limiting of public gatherings to 10 people including visitations in regards to the prevention of the spreading of the virus.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Serenity House Hospice in Oskaloosa.
