Pair of Four-Goal Games Leads Christensen to Heart Accolade

Oskaloosa–Wyatt Christensen (So., Madison, Wis., Biology) had it going on the attacking end last week, and for his efforts he was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Monday.

Christensen won his first career honor after helping William Penn to a pair of wins last week.

In last Thursday’s victory over Midland (Neb.), the sophomore tallied four goals on seven shots, while also recording one assist with four ground balls.

Two days later, Christensen again scored four times (10 shots) with four assists versus Northwestern (Minn.). In the 19-3 win, he tallied five ground balls as well.

For the 2024 campaign, Christensen has 23 goals, 19 assists, 82 shots, 19 ground balls, and two caused turnovers.

The award is the fifth of the season for WPU.
