Osky Indians Fall to Norwalk Warriors in Hard-Fought Matches
Norwalk, IA – The Osky Indians middle school volleyball teams traveled to Norwalk for a challenging series of matches against the Warriors on Thursday night. Despite determined efforts, the Indians came up short across all four contests.
In the A1 match, the Indians fell 1-2 in a tightly contested battle. After dropping the first set 8-21, the Indians rallied to win the second set 21-18 but were unable to carry the momentum, losing the final set 6-15. Aleigha Burton led the team with an ace, a kill, a dig, and a block. Taylen Parker added two assists, three kills, and a dig, while Ally Goodman contributed two aces and an assist.
The A2 team faced a tough opponent, losing 0-3 with set scores of 17-21, 8-21, and 12-15. Macy Siroky was a standout with two aces, two kills, and a dig. Chloe Landgrebe also made an impact with three aces and a dig.
In B1 action, the Indians battled but lost 0-3 by scores of 15-21, 19-21, and 18-21. April Potter shined with six aces and a kill, while Zaelyn Claussen added three aces, an assist, and a kill.
The B2 team also struggled, losing 0-3 with set scores of 10-21, 18-21, and 5-21. Taylor Wissler led the team with two aces and a kill, while Alexis Anderson provided four aces.
The Osky Indians will look to regroup as they prepare to take on Newton at home next Tuesday.f
