Osky Indians Close Out Season Against Knoxville Panthers

The Osky Indians hosted the Knoxville Panthers for their final volleyball game of the 2024 season, giving fans an exciting display of competition across all four teams.

A1 Team Triumphs with a Hard-Fought Win

The A1 team clinched a victory in a thrilling three-set match, with scores of 11-21, 21-17, and 15-11. Sienna Stout led with four aces, two kills, two digs, and a block, while Gracie Fox added two aces, a kill, and a dig. Ally Goodman contributed three aces, two kills, and a block. Taylen Parker was instrumental with seven assists, a kill, and a dig, and Aleigha Burton’s four kills and a block kept momentum going. Blair Rossi also chipped in with two kills and a dig.

A2 Team Battles but Falls Short in Three Sets

The A2 team played a tight match but ultimately fell 1-2, with scores of 17-21, 21-16, and 7-15. Kailynn Playle led the team with an ace, two kills, and two digs, while Chloe Landgrebe tallied three aces and two kills. Macy Siroky, Kayla Carey, Emma Ross, Gemma Brice, and Kasie Deppe also added crucial points to keep the team in contention.

B1 Team Struggles Despite Strong Efforts

The B1 team faced a tough match, losing 0-3 in scores of 14-21, 19-21, and 4-15. April Potter stood out with two aces and three kills, while Yoselin Gonzalez nearly carried the team to a win in the second game with six straight points, totaling three aces and a kill. Additional contributors included Zoila Keller with four aces, Brooke Boertje with three, and Zaelyn Claussen with two.

B2 Team Wraps Up with a Win

In a close 2-1 victory, the B2 team finished strong, taking the sets 22-20, 17-21, and 15-6. Kayin Luckey led with three aces and two kills, while Violet Rust added three kills. Taylor Wissler, Alexis Anderson, Bailey Sams, Phylicia Brooks, and Serigha Lappin rounded out the scoring efforts. Lilly Evans also played and supported the team’s efforts on the court.

To celebrate the season, the team will enjoy a breakfast pizza party and an afternoon off. Coach Gist and Coach Gritters thank the community for their support throughout the season.
