Osky 7th Grade Girls Basketball Find Trouble With Knoxville

Oskaloosa Vs. Knoxville

The 7th Grade girls basketball team played 2.5 games versus Knoxville on Thursday night. In the A game the Indians struggled a bit on offense and struggled with the speed of the Knoxville girls. The game got away from our girls in the first half as we trailed 5 – 20, and didn’t get better in the 2nd half as we lost by a score of 42 – 20. Although we lost and didn’t play particularly well, we are very proud of their effort and love watching them progress with each passing week. This loss moves our record to 5 – 3. We have some things to work on in practice today as we play another game against Pella on Monday.

In the B game, the Osky girls played extremely well. We were able to play 6 quarters against the Knoxville B team and won 26 – 16. The Osky girls showed a lot of grit throughout the whole game. We are extremely proud of this group’s progress.
