Oskaloosa Water Department Prepares Move to New Location

The Oskaloosa Municipal Water Department Board discusses what steps they will take in the move to their new location.

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Effective January 9, 2013, the Oskaloosa Municipal Water Department will be moving our office location. We will be moving from 213 South 1st Street, to 1208 South 7th Street. The office will be closed on Tuesday January 8th to move between locations. We will re-open at 8 A.M. on Wednesday the 9th at the new location 1208 South 7th Street.

The Water Department purchased the old Wander’s Automotive building in August of 2012 with the intention to move our office and our shop facilities into one location. That will soon become a reality. We are in the process of designing the new office layout and will begin construction in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we will locate the offices in the modular home directly behind the shop/office building. There is a new concrete parking area and handicap accessible ramp leading up to the modular home for ease of access. Please excuse our mess while we progress forward to serve you better.

Again, effective January 9th 2013, the Oskaloosa Municipal Water Department will be relocating to 1208 South 7th Street.
