Oskaloosa Triumphs Over Fairfield in Convincing Victory

The Oskaloosa High School girls’ basketball team secured a commanding win over Fairfield High School on November 28, 2023. The game, which took place at Fairfield High School, ended with a score of 58-29, favoring Oskaloosa.

Oskaloosa’s performance was consistent throughout the match, scoring 11, 15, 20, and 12 points across the four quarters, respectively. In contrast, Fairfield struggled to keep pace, managing 9, 2, 6, and 12 points in each quarter.

Standout performances from Oskaloosa included Junior Dasia Foster, who scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Freshman Haylee Parker matched Foster’s 14 points, including four successful three-pointers. Junior Hannah Nelson also contributed significantly with 10 points, including a perfect record from both the three-point and free-throw lines.

Defensively, Oskaloosa was just as impressive. Foster also shone on defense with four steals and a block, while Nelson and Gracie DeRonde provided crucial support, securing 7 and 4 rebounds, respectively.
