Oskaloosa Softball Post Season Announced

The Oskaloosa softball team now knows their road to get back to state for the third time in the last four years. The IGHSAU released the Regional pairings on Wednesday.

The Indians are in Class 4A Region 1 and will face some familiar opponents as they open Thursday, July 11th hosting Grinnell at 7 pm.

The Indians beat Grinnell two out of three games in the regular season. The winner will travel to Norwalk to face the 11th ranked Warriors on Saturday, July 13 at 7 pm.

The Warriors took two of the three regular-season games from Osky; however, the Indians just upset them in Norwalk 7-5 on Wednesday night. The final stop before state will be against either Newton, Bondurant-Farrar or number two ranked A-D-M on Tuesday, July 16 with the highest remaining seed hosting the game to get to state.
