Oskaloosa News To Host School Board Candidate Forum

Oskaloosa News is pleased to announce a school board candidates forum to be held on Tuesday, August 29th at 7 p.m. in at the bandstand in Oskaloosa pending city review. Smokey Row will be the alternative location in the event of bad weather.

All Oskaloosa School Board candidates have agreed to participate in the forum, which will be moderated by former Oskaloosa School Board Member Charlie Comfort. The forum will serve as a discussion between the candidates about the issues facing the Oskaloosa School District, and how to move forward.

Members of the public may submit questions to be included among the moderator’s questions at the forum. Alternatively, questions from the public will be allowed near the end of the forum. To submit a question to be asked, please e-mail info@oskynews.org
