Oskaloosa Golf Teams Shine at Coed State Meet

The Oskaloosa boys and girls golf teams made a strong showing at the Coed State Golf Meet on Monday. The unique event, featuring an alternate shot format, allowed the Osky golfers to showcase their teamwork and skills in a competitive environment.

Representing Oskaloosa were the pairs of John Terpstra and Reese Milburn, along with Carter Blanco and Leah Cohrt. John and Reese finished with a score of 89, securing the 49th position out of 66 teams. Carter and Leah concluded their round with a score of 98, placing them 61st out of 66.

The Coed State Golf Meet provided a platform for high school golfers to test their abilities in a unique format, fostering not only competitive play but also collaboration and strategic thinking.
