Oskaloosa Girls Tennis Defeats South Tama 7-2

This Oskaloosa Girls Tennis team was in action against South Tama this week.

Varsity: The 2015 Girls tennis season is underway. We opened with a 7-2 victory over South Tama. The conditions were cold and windy but our girls were up to the challenge. I was very pleased with our overall effort tonight. We improved our play as the matches wore on. It was nice to see girls making adjustments and taking control of points. Mary Yarkosky, Emileigh Klucas, and Claire Carmichael stepped up and played their first ever Varsity Singles matches. Well Done Girls! Let’s keep it going!!

JV: We have alot of new faces on JV this year and the girls have been working hard in practice. The potential is there and we are looking forward to a strong season.
