Oskaloosa Fourth of July Fireworks Scheduled

The Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group Fireworks Committee has scheduled a spectacular community fireworks display to be held at 10 p.m. on Wednesday July 3rd at the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds in Oskaloosa. Preceding the Fireworks will be the 18th Annual Budweiser Stock Car Shootout. Hot laps start at 6:00 pm, with racing at 6:30 pm. Sno Biz, 3 Face Painters and Terrific Tom the Balloon Man will be under the grandstand from 7 – 9 pm.

The Southern Iowa Fair grandstands will be open to the public immediately following the racing program with no admission charge for the fireworks display. Concessions will be available.

Sponsors of this year’s event are Musco Sports Lighting, The Southern Iowa Fair and the Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group.

In case of a rainout, the fireworks rain date and time will be Friday, July 5th at 10 p.m.
