Oskaloosa Elementary Students Share Their Creativity

There was lots of creativity on display this week at the Oskaloosa Elementary School.

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The commons area at the Oskaloosa Elementary was a gallery of some wonderful works of art.

The contest for best pumpkin decorating includes the most original, the funniest, and best use of fall theme. Students can enter a pumpkin, poem or photography.

The contest has been going on for several years and is made possible by monetary donations from the Oskaloosa Elementary PTO and area businesses.

The top 3 finishers in each category will receive a monetary amount for their entries.

There were several more tables of creativity on display than there has been in the past.

The contest is something the kids really like, enjoy and look forward to participating in, which often includes getting the opportunity to work with parents or family on the projects.
