OMS XC Team In Recent Action

The Oskaloosa middle school cross country team was back in action Tuesday night at Centerville. This was one of the largest races that the team has competed in.
Ella Walter placed 16th to lead the girls team and Lane Smith placed 14th as the first boy in for the team. Almost everyone saw improvement from their time at Knoxville. This was a great final 1.5 mile race for the team to prepare for the Little Hawkeye Conference meet at DCG on Monday which is a 2 mile course.
Top 10 List Improvements!!
Sabrina Frost (4th), Whitney Steinlage (9th) and Lily Jenkinson (10th) join Ella Walter (2nd) and Kam Maddy (6th) on the Top 10 list for the Centerville meet.
While Sabrina (4th), Kam (6th), Whitney (9th) and Lily (10th) all moved up on the Top 10 for the 1.5 mile race distance.
Lane Smith (2nd), Joel Pogany (4th), Blake Frame (6th), Micah Van Ee (7th) and Silas Johnston (8th) are all now in the Top 10 for the Centerville course.
And for the 1.5 mile distance, Lane moved up to 2nd, Joel to 4th, Blake to 6th, Micha to 7th and Silas to 8th.
