OMS Competes During 3rd Meet Of The Year

by Coach Autumn Reisetter

We were finally able to get out and compete tonight. This was only our 3rd meet for the year, and the kids were ready to run. We have been working on bunching together and moving towards the front and the boys did a great job of that last night. We still need to keep moving the group up, but I was proud of the results. The boy’s team missed 3rd place by only 2 points. The girls got out and worked hard. They all made improvements, and Hailey led the team with a 9th place finish. And you know with only 5 girls (which makes a team), coming in 8th out of 12 teams is an accomplishment. I am looking forward to watching the kid’s compete on Thursday in Knoxville and then again on Monday for our final meet here in Osky for Conference!
