OMS 8th Grade Girls Battle Newton

Tonight the 8th grade girls were in action against Newton for their season opener! We came out a little slow and timid to start but once the competitive juices got rolling the girls turned up the entensity. With some shots falling led by Haylee Parker the girls pulled away in the second half. The A game finished 34 to 22 with the Indians on top!

In the B game the girls came out ready to rock! The defensive intensity was awesome and Newton did not have one uncontested shot. The girls were flying all over the floor and moving the ball up the court. They did an awesome job sharing the ball and attacking the hoop! The Indians finished on top 26 to 4.
