OMS 7th Grade Volleyball Falls At Newton

The 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Newton yesterday!
The A team struggled to stay ahead and fell short 0-3 with scores of 11-21, 14-21, and 13-21. Jillian Park had 2 aces and 1 kill, followed by Reagan Stream with 1 ace and 1 kill, Lauren McKain and Braylie Teeter with 1 ace each and Karling Taylor with 1 kill.
The B team battled but lost 0-3 with scores of 8-21, 18-21, and 12-21. Nichole Harman led the team with 7 aces followed by Zoe Landgrebe with 2 aces.
The C team played very well together and came out on top 3-0 with scores of 21-12, 21-19, and 21-16. Kelsie Sherwood dominated with her serves and had 12 aces. Followed by Laney Harbour and Ivy Patton with 5 aces each. Harper VerSchuure and Shay Parker each had 1 ace.
The D team battled very hard but fell 1-2 with scores of 21-14, 22-24, and 18-21. Addy Edgington led the team with 6 aces, followed by Melony Deevers with 3 aces, Chloe Fenton, Josslyn Ferree, and Kylie Gibson each had 2 aces.
Our last games of the season are on Monday home against Pella and Tuesday at Knoxville! Come out and support our girls!
