Nomination by Petition For Mahaska County Attorney Open

The filing period is now open for nominations by petition to fill the vacancy for the office of Mahaska County Attorney for term ending December 31, 2018. Petitions and an affidavit of candidacy must be filed in the Mahaska County Auditor’s Office by the deadline of Friday, April 8, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Signatures required for nomination: At least 146 eligible voters. This office will be on the ballot at the special election to be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
