About NoCoast Beer Co.

The NoCoast microbrewery houses brewing and mobile canning. The quirky yet cerebral anchor of the NoCoast Brew Crew is Head Brewer, Chuck “Heisenberg” Crabtree. Equipped with a BS in Biology, Chuck has held senior research positions for Texas Tech University and Iowa BioDevelopment.

Flanking Crabtree on the Brew Crew are: John “Butters” McMains and Robert “Father Bert” Marks. McMains is an Oskaloosa native who received his culinary degree from a Des Moines college. Having developed a taste for craft beer while traveling to music festivals, he started using beer to craft many of his dishes. Marks, with his long hair/beard, round glasses, and uniform of denim, looks like a 1970s musician and has a BS in Engineering and BA in Brewing Practices.
