Night Crawler Hunting At Russell Wildlife Area

Mahaska County Conservation Board

Friday, April 21 at 8:00 pm

Night Crawler Hunting last spring was so much fun that we have to do it again! Come out to the Mahaska County Conservation Board’s conservation center at the Russell Wildlife Area on Friday , May 4 at 8:00 pm and join us on a hunt for night crawlers on the ground. What will we do with them? You can take them home to use as fishing bait or donate them to the worm-eating critters in the conservation center. It will be fun! Wear shoes that can get wet/dirty and bring a flashlight. This is a great activity for all ages. Note: If the ground is too dry to find night crawlers, there will be an indoor night crawler activity to replace the hunt. Call the Mahaska County Conservation Board to sign up at (641)673-9327.
