Nazarene Youth Along With Love INC Work To Clean Up The Oskaloosa Community Stadium

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Community projects often take almost the whole community to complete! Through cooperation between Love INC, Gateway Church of the Nazarene, and the Oskaloosa Chamber, the Oskaloosa community stadium is starting to look like new again.

When the Nazarene youth group was looking for a project to help out in the community, they called Love INC to find out what needed to be done. Love INC got in touch with the Chamber, and a community project was born.

On Wednesday the 6th, the Nazarene youth group and a few Love INC volunteers unloaded at the stadium. The Chamber had provided gloves and bags, so they were ready to go. They started picking up trash, and it was only a matter of hours before it looked like a different place. The stadium project is a great example of what community organizations can accomplish by working together to make Oskaloosa a better place.
