Myron Fraker, 70 of Searsboro passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at his home. Myron Leslie Fraker, the son of Bernard and Anita (Criswell) Fraker was born on November 5, 1951 in Grinnell, Iowa.

Myron graduated from Lynnville-Sully High School in 1969 and then attended trade school in Omaha, Nebraska in 1970.

Myron worked for over 40 years at Kruseman Fertilizer and also enjoyed farming with his brother, Terry, for 28 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman and through the years he could be found hunting with many friends. Myron also enjoyed fishing and spending most weekends in the summer in his boat on the river. He was known to have a green thumb, showcasing his garden veggies and sweet corn to all his friends and family with a surprise stop. Above all, Myron had an unconditional love for his daughter, Tiffany. She was his world and they will forever share countless unforgettable memories of their time together.

Myron’s memory will be honored by his daughter, Tiffany Fraker (Colin Kilby) of Des Moines; his sister, Barb (Bryce) VanDerWilt of Lynnville; his brother, Terry (Cathy) Fraker of Lynnville; his sister-in-law, Donna Fraker of Montezuma; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Anita Fraker and a brother, Gary Fraker.

As was his wish, his body has been cremated.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 10:30 am Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Community Hope Church in Montezuma.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in Montezuma.

Burial will be held at a later time in the Westfield Cemetery near Grinnell. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.
